Painting and drawing from an early age, Glen Vause has recently received favorable critique of his work. Notable artistic achievements are becoming finalist again in the 2007 Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize, hosted by the South Australia Museum in Adelaide, and Finalist in the 2007 Country Energy Landscape Art Prize. This is the forth year for the Waterhouse Art Prize and the forth year for the Country Energy Landscape Prize. Both are major exhibitions and rival the Archibald in prize money.
Recent News
January 2008 Glen's painting "Magnificent Facades" was selected to tour Sydney at the Gunnery as part of the Countryscapes 2008 Exhibition commencing January 14.
July 2007 Glen was awarded finalist in Waterhouse Art Prize for the forth consecutive year with his painting "Ripple" his attempt at highlighting the plight of Polar bear and other creatures at polar ice regions and their receeding habitats. September 2007 Glen was awarded finalist in the Country Energy Landscaspe Art Prize for the forth consecutive year with his painting "Magnificent Facades".
September 2006 Awarded overall 1st Prize at the 2006 Southern Cross Arts Festival in Ballina with "The Recluse". Awarded Highly Commended at the 2006 Southern Cross Arts Festival in Ballina with "To Be or not To Be ".
